Project Overview Lithic Industries used T-PRO® to stabilize a 16,000 square foot private driveway at a family home in the California Hills. Project Details The driveway consisted of 16,000 SF of California DOT base rock mixed with native limestone topsoil. The base was treated with T-PRO® at a precisely calculated dilution rate based on aggregate density and in-situ moisture content. The finished driveway measured 1,000 feet long by 16 feet wide at a 4-inch depth and required 1,100 gallons of polymer.
Challenges The job site presented several constraints: limited workspace for mixing, only one entrance/exit, and a strict 3-day timeline. Mechanical issues arose during the project, along with unexpected damage to an electrical line.
